Scope of Services
RealSupport recommends approaching the design, development and implementation
of your website in a phased approach. Each phase ensures the site contains
as much information and functionality as possible to create a user experience
that is easy and engaging, thus encouraging extended and repeated visits.
Phase 1 - Strategic Planning
During this phase, RealSupport will discuss the goals with you for the website.
RealSupport will get a feel for the measurement of success and will use to
determine the effectiveness of the new site. This information will be taken
into consideration during all aspects of the redesign.
Phase 2 - Navigational Planning
A navigation menu is more than a few 'clickable buttons'. It represents the
mindset of the entire website. In addition to creating attractive designs
and carefully-chosen wording for these buttons, they must work efficiently
in the web code. Where the menus are placed on your website, on which pages,
and in what quantity and designs are just few of the considerations we take
into account.
During this phase we organize your website navigation as the fundamental
starting point for your new website design.
Phase 3 - Graphical Design
RealSupport will take the ideas discussed throughout phase 1 and 2 and incorporate
them into a static composition (a composition is the plan, placement and arrangement
of the elements of your artwork which represents your overall look/feel of
your new site). You will then have the opportunity to review the composition
and make up to two rounds of tweaks in order to create a final selection.
Any changes to the selected composition after sign-off are outside the scope
of service and may directly affect the overall cost of the project.
After sign-off, RealSupport will then develop a web site template based on
the comp to be used throughout the entire site.
Phase 4 - Content Development
RealSupport will suggest marketing content for your website. Our goal would
be to utilize existing content you may have; however, sometimes new content
is required to be developed. RealSupport will gladly help manage and facilitate
the process of utilizing a copy writer for any and all content on your site.
Phase 5 - Site Launch
During all phases of this project, you will be able to view everything online
at all times. Upon completion of the phases discussed above, you will give
final sign off and the site will launch live for the public. Even though the
site will be launched, it is strongly recommended that you continue to work
on content updates to the site. Fresh information will be the key to becoming
a successful resource site.
